How wind is stored

You can't really "store" energy in wind, but I guess you could say that energy is stored in the sun, witch is the source or the wind.

Sources we used

We have used a lot of sources for finding information about wind. We used google,ask.com and American Wind Energy Association

Invention Idea

We came up with a really cool Idea for the future of wind. Okay, so you know how Jet skis use the water by pumping it in and pushing the water out the back, well we came up with an idea about how cars could run on the wind power that has carbon dioxide in it, so the cars run on it without using gas or any other substitutes for car fuel.

Future of Wind

The future of wind energy is looking great, Its told that wind energy could fuel future needs.

Economic impacts of the energy source

The economic impacts are that you don't "Buy" the wind, but you have to buy the turbines.

Enviornmental impacts of the energy source

The Enviornmental impacts of the energy source are; That its clean, powerful, and can be renewed.

Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages~
*It is renewable
*It will work as long as the sun shines
*It is a totally natural, pure, source, it does not pollute

Disadvantages~
* You have to buy the wind turbines in order too have this power source

How wind is used today

Wind is used today to power acres and acres of wind turbines to create a pollution-free power source.

Where wind is found and recovered.

The energy source for wind is found in the sky, but powered by the sun. Wind is recovered by being harnessed by the Wind turbines.

hisory of wind power

Wind energy propelled boats along the Nile River as early as 5000 B.C.

Simple windmills in China were pumping water, while vertical-axis windmills with woven reed sails were grinding grain in Persia and the Middle East.

Wind in other countries

Wind is used in a lot of different places. In other they countries and states people use wind for a lot of things like to provide energy for towns. Wind can be can be used in a lot of different ways but its mostly used to generate electricity.

Why is this a good energy source?

Wind power is really cool because its a natural source. Natural, meaning; wind is powered by the sun, which is also a natural source. I really think this is a great energy use because the wind powers the generator, theres no Fossil Fuels or anything like that, is all powered by WIND!!

Wind Movement

Wind movement is basically powered by the sun, which is a natural source. So some people came up with a Wind Turbine this wind turbine harnesses the wind's movement, which powers a generator inside the turbine, the turbine can power a lot of electricity.
